Explanation of the art:

I made this piece because, admittedly, I felt unloved as a child. Sometimes that feeling lingers and creeps up on me in my adult life. To save myself from sadness, so I don't get too depressed, I look around my workspace and ask what can I do or make to encapsulate or destroy what I felt. Sometimes I embroider the echoing words of my inner voice who tries to remind me, every day, of my worth.

You-are-so-loved is dedicated to my child self. She loved pink and I think she would have liked to make something like this in her future life.
